RG & Associates is led by Renae Griffin, a Certified Meeting Professional who brings more than 25 years of experience in finance, sales, marketing, meeting and project management to every client engagement. The firm’s in-house team has the depth of experience—and the eye for detail required—to plan and execute on a wide range of projects.
Under her leadership, RG & Associates has cultivated an extensive network of collaborative partners and industry intelligence that fuels the team’s strategic insights, flawless execution and delivery of exceptional value.
Team Members
Renae Griffin, Founder and Principal
Renae Griffin is Founder and Principal of RG & Associates (RG&A). Griffin brings more than 25 years of professional financial services experience and talent to her firm.
Griffin began her career in finance in 1982 with Bankers Trust Company serving as an associate to senior officers in the commercial lending group. In 1986, Griffin joined Capital Guardian Trust Company as a marketing associate working with senior portfolio managers and marketing executives. In 1995, she joined Progress Investment Management Company as a marketing director responsible for investor relations, institutional investor marketing and strategy to many of the largest public institutional investors in the country.
In 2001, Griffin leveraged her experience and relationships in the financial services industry to establish RG & Associates. The firm produces several annual domestic and international, independently developed educational conferences focused on bringing together financial services experts including minority and women-owned investment management firms, as well as high-ranking institutional investors in the public and private sector. Additionally, RG & Associates develops strategic outreach and marketing tools and technology to help corporations, federal, state, and local government agencies expand relationships with potential business partners.
Griffin holds a BS in Economics from the University of San Francisco. Griffin is a registered Certified Meeting Planner (CMP). She is a member of the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP), Rotary International, Private Equity Women Investment Network, Council of Urban Professionals and Meeting Professionals International (MPI) organizations.
Reggio Hearn, Director of Operations
Reggio Hearn is the Director of Operations at RG & Associates. Reggio oversees all technical and logistics operations for RG & Associates’ events worldwide. Additionally Reggio manages office operations and staffing. He is also responsible for the management of our proprietary database, and the development of our system applications including our VIP Connect networking software.
Previously, Reggio worked over 12 years managing events for a wide range of companies and industry sectors including several Fortune 100 companies. He has managed events on 6 continents and is fluent in French. Reggio graduated from the University of California Davis in 1995 with a degree in Political Science and Communications. He is active in his community and works with several non-profit organizations that benefit youth education and enrichment.
Ngoc Ly, Executive Assistant
Ngoc Ly is an Executive Assistant at RG & Associates. She provides administrative support and coordination of all ongoing and future events to ensure the success and satisfaction of both management and clients. Ngoc comes to RG & Associates with over 10 years of customer service experience and over six years of project management experience.
Prior to joining RG & Associates, Ngoc was the Community Relations Coordinator for McKesson Corporation and the McKesson Foundation where she was responsible for organizing, managing and implementing volunteer programs for over 500 employees at corporate headquarters in San Francisco, CA. Ngoc attended San Jose State University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Science and is a Butler Koshland Fellow.
Megan Masters, Project Manager
Megan has eight-plus years of event and logistics planning for Fortune 100 companies, including outstanding project and program management skills. Past experience includes events for Goldman Sachs, Smith Barney, top national law firms and other leading organizations. Megan works closely with Renae Griffin and other RG&A team members and contractors to plan, manage and coordinate all aspects of meetings, conferences, special events, incentives, road shows and deliver outstanding results. She provides RG & Associate event clients with direct support for all required operations of the event, including site selection, pre-event coordination, vendor selection/management /negotiation, budget management, status reporting, design and implementation, speaker, sponsor and attendee coordination, management of collateral design, on-site event support, as well as post-event billing and reporting.
Megan earned her Bachelor of Science, Business Administration degree from University of Arizona and her Master of Science, Hospitality Industry Studies at New York University.
Jarinya K. Law, Accountant
Jarinya joins the RG & Associate team as an accountant responsible for maintaining records of all financial transactions and providing monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting to management.
Before joining RG & Associates, Jarinya worked over 13 years as a project accountant for an engineering firm in San Francisco. Jarinya graduated with a degree in Accounting and she attended San Francisco State University where she earned her Master Business Administration (MBA).
